Location & Directions

The Haus Alpina is ideally located right next to the bottom station of the Rastkogel cable car, which means that our guests need only walk a few steps to start their skiing or hiking adventures. 

Drive past the Hotel Tuxerhof in Vorderlanersbach, keep to the left and you’ll see the parking are of the Rastkogel cable car. On the right side of the road, you can see our House Alpina – your holiday can begin! 

TRAVELLING TO TUX:

CAR

Inntal motorway (A12 – road tax disc needed, A13 – tax disc and toll) to exit Zillertal, then B169 to Mayrhofen and Tux road towards Hintertux (from the exit Zillertal to Hintertux: 50 kilometres). The road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is easily traversable, but in snowy and/or ice conditions, skid chains are mandatory. 

TRAIN

International/high speed train to Jenbach/Tirol, then change to the Zillertalbahn regional train (or bus) to Mayrhofen. Here, change to the Postbus to Tux. Online train schedules are available for Austrian and German trains.
